Malabar melastome, Indian rhododendron, Singapore rhododendron, planter's rhododendron, and senduduk are all names for Melastoma malabathricum, a flowering plant in the Melastomataceae family. This plant is endemic to Indomalaya, Japan, and Australia, and can be found on grasslands and scanty woodlands between 100 and 2,800 meters.
