One of the most beautiful tourist attractions I visited before the pandemic came.
The Cagsawa Church located at the Daraga Albay built in the year 1724 but destroyed during the eruption of mayon volcano last February 1, 1814. It was the most violent eruption in the history destroying the entire town of Cagsawa. Over a thousand people were killed in the desaster by that time including those who sought refuge in the stone church. Only the church bell tower remained when the church collapsed. At this time this Cagsawa ruins is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Albay province.
