Hello everyone. Very good night, and happy start to the week. I hope you are well and with a great attitude to progress in all areas of your life.

Today I am going to write and show you the process of making a crop top made with remnants of amorela fabric, which is a fabric used for swimsuits but crop tops with this type of fabric are currently very trendy.

The materials to use:

✂️ Pieces of cloth
✂️ Scissors
✂️ Thread

Step 1

We start by taking the largest piece of fabric we have and we are going to cut a rectangle as wide as possible, trying to make the most of the piece to generate as little waste as possible.

Once we have our rectangle ready, we are going to reserve it, to use it later, since with this first rectangle we are going to guide ourselves throughout the development of the other pieces of the crop top.

Step 2

Now we are going to use another piece to make a rectangle that is less wide but just as long as the previous one, the width is not the same because it does not have more large pieces, so I had to make a different design. The idea is to adapt to work with what we have.

Once cut, we place it on top of the other large rectangle to see how the design will turn out.

Step 3

We take the smallest pieces and we are going to cut three rectangles of the largest size that we can and in this case, two were equal and one longer, I gave them all the same width. because with these we are going to form a strip.

Step 4

Then we are going to fold the three rectangles as shown in the images, this is how we are going to form the strip once it is sewn.

We place all the pieces on top of the first rectangle to assemble our crop top, we cut two smaller rectangles to be the straps of the crop top, we are going to fold and sew them and then turn them over so that the seam is not visible on the outside. We go to the sewing machine to finish the crop top.

This crop top can also be made by hand, but with another type of fabric because it is a bit complex to sew.

After about 15 minutes of sewing, I have finished my beautiful crop top, it is quite simple and with a very elegant color to wear on any occasion, an excellent idea so that we do not have the scraps that we have at home.
