Hello artists.

I'm glad to return to this beautiful community, to show you a recycling craft for this fun contest:

For all those who will participate, it is very cool, take advantage of it before time runs out.

As I have already made known in a previous post, I am very passionate about everything related to home decoration, for this reason today I am going to make some containers to place our kitchen cutlery, all this recycling some plastic bottles.

Step 1

We start by taking one of our plastic bottles, we remove the cap and with the cutter we are going to cut the bottle wherever we want.

I cut it where the straight part ended and the funnel shape of the bottle began.

It is important that we handle it with great care and balance so as not to hurt ourselves.

Step 2

Now we will take another bottle and we are going to carry out the same procedure, we cut where we want until we have the two separate parts.

We are going to get two containers like the ones shown in the picture.

Step 3

In this step we will use our fabric and with the help of the silicone gun we will glue the fabric on the containers, so that they are covered with the fabric.

When we reach the bottom of the container we are going to apply silicone and we will stick very carefully not to burn all the rest of the fabric that remains in that area until everything is covered.

Step 4

Continuing with our process, we will take our jute thread, cut several strips and then we will weave a one meter long braid.

After we have the braid ready we will begin to decorate our containers, I will place only one round of the braid on the first and if I will make two braid spaces on the second, this is at my own discretion.

Step 5

Now, my favorite part, we will use our textile paint in this case of white color, and in the first container we are going to make a thick line in the upper part, then we begin to make some details in both containers in the lower part, drawing circular figures, straight and curved lines, squares, among other figures that can generate a somewhat abstract but very simple perception.

This is how we finish our project today.

We can now place our cutlery inside the containers and this is what they look like.

Without a doubt, this is a super nice idea to transform our plastic bottles, giving a harmonious luxurious touch to your kitchen. The colors in the decorations influence a lot so I always prefer to use neutral colors.
