The most hyped movie last year, the movie of the people, the movie that shaked lives, the movie that made people emotional. I was emotional as well but the who scene was just categorised by humour and emotions. I watched it finally. A Nigerian movie with one of the Best Actress in Nigeria as protagonist in the full movie. Want to know what the movie is titled? The below gives a brief narrative.
What type of Movies do you like to watch (romantic, fighting, scary etc)? Tell us the reason |
---|
I'm a movie lover and I what all types of interesting genres of movies that portrays detection, action and talking as well. To be specific, cartoon movies and horror are my favourite genres of movies. I enjoy watching cartoon movies because most of them teaches lot of lessons than even real action movies. Movies that are science fictional are also movies I love watching.

I dislike watching series because I feel it's just a waste of my time. Sitting for hours watching series and entering the next one. Very frustrating I must say. Horror movies don't In as much as I dislike when it have to hurt others, I love the terror and scary part. It learn how to be smart from horror movies. These are the kinds of movies I watch. I'm always selective in my choice of entertainment.
Which one is your favourite movie of 2023? Why did you like it? |
---|
My favourite movie of 2023 is the overhyped Nigerian movie called A tribe of Judah. The movie features a setting where a woman had 5 sons from 5 different fathers in the world. They were called Judah's, Jedidah's sons. Despite the fact that she had these 5 sons from 5 fathers who ended up no staying with her, some dead, she ensured she take good care of her boys till they became grown ups. Sequentially, the 5 sons were;

Adamu | |
Pere | |
Shina | |
Ejiro |

These sons proved to be her shell and her heartache though not all of them. Just a few gave her instances she would shout and lose breathe.
I like the movie for the following reasons and the below shows some of the scenes I loved.
- The action in the movie is just there, making one eager to watch the movie to the end. The movie is just unpredictable and difficult to know what would happen at the end compared to other Nigerian movies.

The graphics and real-life situations employed made me love the movie. The use of different tongue like the English, Yoruba, Igbo and Efik spoke a lot about the writer.
One of my favourite scenes is when the mother of these sons was in trouble. Her 5 sons abandoned all they did to come and protect their mother. They were feared and no one dared challenge her in anyway.
Another scene is when the manager of C&K furnitures was addressing Emeka, the oldest of his body Odour. It was embarrassing but funny.
Another scene is when Jedidah challenged her last born and warned his girlfriend not to be seen anywhere around her son and that love is scum. It was quite funny as well.

- The next scene is quite an emotional one when Emeka died and their reactions. I've watched the movie 7 good times.
Tell us about the main characters of your favourite movie. And did you learn any lesson from your favourite movie? |
---|
Starting from the protagonist to the least person.
Protagonist | Jedidah | Funke Akindele |
---|---|---|
1st Son | Emeka Judah | |
2nd Son | Adamu Judah | |
3rd Son | Pere Judah | |
4th Son | Shina Judah | |
5th Son | Ejiro Judah | |
Ejioro girlfriend | Testimony | |
Manager of C&K | Boss | |
Asst. Manager | Collette | |
Jedidah mom | mumsi |

And other important people who made up the movie. These are the main characters. The lesson I learnt from this movie are quite numerous but I'll still state them out. Following the setting of the movie, this family grew up in misfortunes, the mother without her husbands and her sons without fathers. They grew up without a father. It's only their mother that took care of them.

- In the world we're living today, if such a situation is to happen, most women would abandon that child or children especially when condition is critical but Jedidah didn't. She cared for them and sheltered them as well.
When it comes to parenting, both parents are involved and not just the mother as she can't fully carryout both responsibilities. I also learnt we should train our children right from when they are little so when they grow up, we'll not have to regret not doing so initially.
A simple act of kindness wouldn't have made the manager end up in jail. He had millions of dollars but he refused to lend a helping hand to his sales boy who was losing his mother already. It was when he heard things had gone wrong he decided to help which was already too late.

Do you recommend others to watch this movie? Why? If yes, share the link to your favourite movie |

I recommend this specially to the general public to those who haven't watched the movie to do so. The movie is more like real life situations we experience and how to face them squarely to avoid regrets later. Looking at those 5 sons, the mother did her best in training them but not fully. They contributed to her suffering and sickness of which they ended up doing things they originally didn't intend doing and even regretted their lives.

This is the movie I am currently watching. Earlier this, I heard much hype from that movie "The Tribe Called Judah". But on watching it, I discovered that it's worth the hype. I'll give this 10/10. All the characters in the movie including the main Protagonist "Jedidah Judah" delivered their roles perfectly. Thanks for the invite

From the way you've present this movie, though I haven't watch yet but it's interesting and I'm imagining it already and would love 💟 to watch.
And adding my opinion boss, I'm not a fan or horror movies nor cartoon, I so much dislike them with passion, instead i love some seasonal movies or series that are interesting and educative alone.
Kudos to you, you've made justice to it.
Good 👍 luck 🤞

Over hyped but exceptional. This movie shows many things which happens in our society today. The part I almost cried was when Emeka Judah died after the robbery. Each of the casts gave their all to the scenes and made it interesting. Another character was pere who as a tout. He did his best to help his brothers during even when they said no guns, he brought one which actually helped them..
Thanks for the invite..

It's shina not pere that was actually the loose one but tends to be my favourite character because he made everything run well in that movie. His brothers would have been baked but he salvaged them in many ways especially with his boys. Thanks for the comment
