Hello friends! greetings to you all and thank God it's Friday. This statement is now popular and celebrated even, because workers use it to feel relieved since being about to rest for the weekend. How did you introduce the steemit platform to the person you met?

Yes I met a young lady at centinary city Abakaliki, the day I happened to be there for some work purposes, and it all started from some little conversation like enquiring, wether she is waiting for somebody because of the way she politely greeted me. And in proceedings, she said no and took me like telling the country position in terms of securing better job.

So after all of such conversation, her phone rang and she brought it out and answered call, excusing me, and after the call, I began by admiring her smart phone and told her that the phone is beautiful and of great quality and she replied 'thank you' so I said to her, having wonderful phone of this type, I know you must be active in social media blogging? She said not much, and I enquired from her the social media platform she uses and she mentioned some few, excluding steemit platform. I proceeded by asking her wether she new something about steemit platform? She said, hasn't heard of such name before and from here, my introduction full conversation began telling her how to join and the benefits she stands to gain.

Did you use any promotional aid when talking to the person about steemit (E.g fliers, T-shirt etc)

No! I was only convincing in the conversation, displaying from my phone how far and active I have gone and being since I was myself introduced to steemit platform 4 months ago then. Since I was just little older than a newbie, I was yet to explore much into the knowledge of the platform having greater experience on how to make new friends devote faster to accepting the offer of the membership by the use of incentives or feasible materials like gift of T-shirt.

But now, having gradually made long stay and communication with steemians, having greater experience on the the direction, and Steemit platform activities and methods especially with regards to how to convert new persons, I believe myself, in not distant time, I will have all it takes to organise full submit for this purpose order than single meetings. It's more convincing to people honorable, talking to them about this platform.

How is the reaction of the person when you told him/her about the platform and its benefits?

She was absolutely happy and enthusiastic but I tell you words, the heart desires of most people these days, is that you are giving them fish not teaching them how to caught it. So first telling her about the benefits, she was like, thank God she met me but when I started showing her some responsibilities in the blogging, like, posting, making time to comment and vote other people's posts, I don't know, but perceived the work too heavy for her I suppose.

Even though, she eventually registered, but I am yet to see her progress and anytime I attempt to call her, she would give me one reason or the other. And this is the reason, I made that statements presumably that some people wishes to have fish but never the knowledge of on how to caught them. Maybe she thought after registration, she starts receiving rewards without work presumably.

When you were first told about the steemit platform, what was your reaction?

I was happy because of the comparative advantage steemit has over other platforms especially the savings and security architecture. But I didn't accept immediately because of the down side history of some other social platforms, I only based my acceptance on the study of the operation managers of my mentor @josepha, his dedication, activeness was worth emulating, so I picked up immediately.

And this is the areas, people often say action speaks louder than voice and I also learnt huge Ideas from this young and vibrant friend, his own road to convince people, he struggles first, to provide the reality of the system so that people will know it's real and not to be scared of. So now I am a happy steemian.

Do you think your discussion with this person will convince him/her to join? Take a selfie with the person as evidence that you guys had a discussion.

Yes for conviction gift I would say I have it not bearing myself a witness but confirmed by many, being a preacher and teacher, if you can't convince people on your subject matter, nobody will listen. So I convinced her 99% for making time to call me with her airtime until her registration was successful.

But the key fact remains what I said earlier, that some people love eating much more than working, presumably, after the registration, am yet to see her progress maybe she thought, belonging to the platform requires no further works and rewards comes. So for this reason I didn't have her close now to take a selfie.

But if I had known that this contest shall come, I would had taken selfies with her before she travels. So I only have her account name and her personal selfie. Which is @ogetr and the selfie will be displayed inbetween this ending conversation.
