Steemit Engagement Challenge S7W5 | If I were The Principal

I'm so delighted in my entry of this contest of S7W5 Steemit engagement challenge how are you friends, I hope all steemians are all doing well and also wishing you all well in this month of February in all endeavors of life and equally to this platform. Before I proceed I will like to appreciate Steem4 Bloggers for organizing this unique and wonderful contest titled if I were the principal.

Being principal of a school is my dream and if I accomplish the dream I will make sure I do my best to ensure my student understand what is been taught every week and make sure conducive class rooms is made available for the student.

What would you do for the academic growth of your school?

Academic growth of school is very important and these are my opinion

• Promoting student autonomy with quick access to their performance data: I think that giving student some good autonomy will improve the academic growth of school as a result of great impact of learning whenever is feasible. The accessibility of autonomy is related to their studies which helps alot to improve students in their motivation, engagement and sense of achievement.

strategies will enable the student to be able to login their portal and access information related with their studies, timetables, payment and tuition fees. And in as much as performance data is made available student will be able to view their report card, teacher accessment, class average, class grade, comments on grade and punctuality in school.

• I would strive to help teachers focus on improving their teaching methods, to improve academic performance: For the fact that I'm a principal I would take responsibility of their academic performance by taking part of educational task within or outside the class with the student that will also bring the growth of academic and this will equally help the teachers to save time and rest after their sacrificial work.

What tips would you give to the teachers regarding the maintenance of descipline?

The teachers should be aware that descpline student greatly hand to hand will bring inadequate concentration in the class therefore the restriction would be tolorating to enable student pay attention in the class.

The teachers should strive to involve the student in creation of rules and conduct in the class room which will enable the student to display the code of conduct prominently in the class.

The teacher should be friendly with the students and make them aware of rules and regulations governing the class and as well the teacher will also eastablish a clear tolorating truth with students to enable them to feel respected and exhibits respect back to the class and their teachers.

Do you think sport should be promoted at school level? What would you like to do to encourage athletes at your school?

Indeed promoting sports in school is very necessary and very interestingly. It is one of the curriculum activities that bonds everyone including teacher and student most especially football. Football is one of the best sports that student regards among other sports activities in the school and asides of promoting football other sporty event can be carry-out especially during the period of Inter-house festivals such as hurdles, short-put,long jump,high jump, javelin sack race, etc. and all these can promote satisfactary and healthy competition among the student.

Apart of from that, I would like to organise and create different types of sports, competition among the student level by level that student will engage themselves during break time such as organizing soccer competition, tennis games, basketball, and volleyball and as well result will be called at every end of team with prize winner. This will helps them to develop a awareness of body and improve theirselves motivation in all aspects of school outdoor activities.

What do you do to provide the easy atmosphere for students to learn? (Behavior of teachers with students).

In as much as I'm the principal I should ensure a conducive classroom of learning for the Student and also ensure is well ventilated suitable for the student and teachers. I will also make sure that availablility of material of learning and outdate material for carrying-out practical learning is also made available to the student.

I should also ensure that during break time the student would play in a cool place by establishing a well conducive stadium garden in the school and also I will make sure that library and teachers offices would be equally a conducive place, where teacher and non-academic stuff will rest after their sacrificial work during the day.

At last, tell us about the personality of your school principal in your matriculation level

During my secondary School level there was a new principal whoes name is Mrs perputual. she is a core disciplinarian who doesn't tolorate misconduct from student she will always remain us about the rules and regulations governing the school and once a student fail to his instructions the student will be adequately punish.

Mrs perputual always make sure that punctuality is been taking every school days in a week and late comer student will also be adequately punish. Late comer punishment is very choetic in my school which I do make sure I get prepared for school early in the morning around 7:00 to 7:30pm I am in school because I wouldn't want to participate in late comer assembly and some of my friends will equally take that serious while many students will fall in the tape and punishment will pursue on them equally. This punctual keep on being serious and after a year of knowing who mrs perputual his many students started to be up and doing because they wouldn't want to fall in the rules and regulations of the school.

Conclusion

In conclusion, If I were the principal I would make sure that all the school rules and regulations is been voted by the student and also providing conducive classrooms for learning. I would also make sure outdate material used in carrying out practical is made available to the student and finally, promoting sports in the school as a outdoor recreation activities.
