Try to earn lots of blessings by fasting, offering prayers, doing stack, Zakat and making azkars.

I am @hadiahashmi from Pakistan and participating in the contest || Ramadan Reflections: Sharing Our Spiritual Journey || organized by @hive-109435. So let's get a start.

What does Ramadan mean to you personally?

Ramadan is the 8th month of the Islamic calendar and third pillar of Islam in which Muslims offer prayers, fasts (they do not eat and drink from when the sun is about to rise till it sets) and make good deeds for the sake of blessing of Allah as it is command of Allah SWT.

It is a blessing of Allah to every Muslim that they get a chance to be ashamed of their sins and wrong deeds and decide to be the person whom Allah loves.

It is a month when everyone tries to earn Allah's gratitude and blessings as the doors of hell are closed and the doors of heaven are opened and the reward of every single good deed is increased up to seventy times.

I always treated Ramadan as a source to get Allah's gratitude and blessings, so he, As Al_Ghaffor, forgave me for the mistakes I had made the whole year. As after this month, Allah rewarded Muslims for their struggle and efforts as Eid-ul-Fitar , and it is a festival when we make merry and enjoy ourselves with our siblings and relatives.

How do you prepare yourself spiritually and mentally for Ramadan?

The fasts of Ramadan do not mean to be hungry and thirsty for the whole day. It actually means to feel the pain and sorrows of those who do not get enough food to eat, can't fully fulfill their desires and have no capability to achieve their aims.

This month teaches us how to sacrifice, how to be humble and get patience and tolerance. Moreover, in this month we try to full fill the needs of deserving people in the form of "sadika" and "fitrana" so they can spend this month easily and can enjoy the happiness of Eid with us by preparing for it.

When someone smiles due to us, it gives us mental peace and internal pleasure. In addition, Allah SWT gets happy by his person's effort and rewards him here and after.

What are your goals or aspirations for self-improvement during Ramadan, and how do you plan to achieve them?

Being a Muslim, I feel very grateful to Allah for having this blessed month once other time in my life. I try to overcome my flows and follow the right path as set by our religion and taught by our beloved prophet (PBUH).

Besides giving up the evil deeds, I learn how to sacrifice our desires which are not prohibited but are not mandatory. The activity of fasting teaches me lots of lessons:

• I learn how to live in limited resources and show gratitude toward Allah SWT for being safe in every situation.

• When I can not eat and drink instead of having surplus food, i feel the pain of poor and needies people who do not get it for the whole day or more than a day.

• As I spend time getting closer to Allah by obeying his commands, I mentally and spiritually get relaxed.

• The most important thing is to learn how to control my feelings in different circumstances, such as patience, anger control tolerance, forgiveness and preferring others' opinions and matters.

Thats all about my vlog.I hope you feel pleasant to read it.See you very soon in some next vlog .Till then Allah hafiz.I like to invite @sobiawan ,@hamidrizwan and @tammanna to participate in this contest.

Stay Blessed💐
