Good afternoon steemians and welcome to my blog once again. Before I proceed to the business of the day, let me first ask you how is your day going? Hope it's going as great as you want it? I know it is!

Today I'll be taking part in the great contest in the STEEM4BLOGGERS community on the theme;

MY FATHER IS MY LIFE

My apologies for not having a picture of my dad in my phone at this moment, I can't even believe that I don't, but just remembered I changed my phone! But I'll ensure to update this post with his picture when I get. But then my father is the best dad in the world, to be honest I couldn't have wished for another father then mine if I was to come into this world a second time. Yes!!! That's how much I love my father.

Well, like I've said earlier my father is the best, and the one I will always choose if I was to come to this world a second time. Yeah, the truth about being the best to somebody is that you don't have to have the whole world to be the best in that person's life. Yes, he(my father) may not have all the necessities I need in life, but he has sacrificed a lot for me. He has sacrificed the little he has to give me what I need. He is my biggest mentor, and my best motivator.

To be honest words cannot describe. Yes! Words will limit my expression in showcasing how much I feel for my father. I love, respect and care about him so much. He is the only one I can count on when I'm truly, truly down.

I have seen people who hate, detest, and dislike their father so much. Well it's not their fault that life wasn't fair to them with a good dad like mine. It's really a privilege to have a father like mine that will displease himself in every way just to please his children. I say it's privilege because we couldn't have worked to deserve it.

Of course he does, but this is why I cherish him the more, because as he desires that I become the best he also puts much effort in making sure I become what he wants. And mind you not selfish expectations but expectations that I desire also. Yes!!! He desires so much that I achieve my goals in life.

Part of his expectations is to see that I go to the university and graduate with a good class. Of which I have entered and already about to graduate with the best grade that he desires.

He also wishes to see that I succeed immensely in my writing career, he sees and knows that I love writing and makes sure that he encourages to pursue my writing dreams. He has been my greatest mentor.

First starting with fathers, my advice is simple. You won't live forever and your children are your gateway to living forever. Make sure to build your legacy greatly on your children. Don't ever think they were a mistake even if it wasn't intentional, never abandon them and make sure they can count on you at all times.

And as for everyone out there who has a father, make sure you reciprocate the love they had for you. And even if they messed up learn to forgive and take care of them.

In the end love matters a lot.
