Assalamu Alaikum friends, hope you all are well. By the grace of Allah I am also well. So today I am here to participate in this wonderful contest organized by this community moderator @memamun bro. The topic of this contest is "My photograph of five flowers". This is a very nice contest where everyone can share everyone's photography.

The flower that you see in this picture is called the pumpkin flower. Pumpkin Flower is a well-known and popular vegetable flower in the rural culture of Bangladesh. It usually develops as a pumpkin plant flower and is mainly found on creeping pumpkin plants. Pumpkin flowers are usually bright yellow or orange in color and are large in size. The flower petals are thin and soft, which is attractive to look at. Antioxidants in pumpkin blossoms help boost the body's immune system. It is good for eyes and plays an important role in bone health. It bloomed next to our house so I captured it.

The flower you can see in the picture above is the Rooster Flower. Rooster flower attracts many attention due to its bright color and special shape. The name of this flower comes from its morphological resemblance to a rooster's comb. The main feature of Rooster flower is that it comes in different shades of dark red, yellow, pink, purple and orange. I picked this flower from my uncle's house tree. It is an annual flower meaning it blooms once a year. The flowers are velvety smooth and have a comb-like twisted shape that looks quite attractive. These flowers can create a different color scheme in the garden and are available in different shapes and forms. Some flowers are wavy like combs, while others are round like little balls. It looked pretty cool so I captured it.

Rose flowers are admired around the world for their attractive appearance and gentle fragrance. Roses of different colors such as red, white, yellow, and pink each color carries its own symbolic meaning. The one I photographed is a red rose. Red roses symbolize love and passion, white roses symbolize peace and purity, and yellow roses symbolize friendship. Its sweet fragrance is capable of captivating anyone's mind. Rose is not only a flower but also considered a source of inspiration for artists in poetry, painting and music. I captured this image in the morning.

The flower you see in this picture is called Kalmi Lata flower. Kalmi Lata flowers are white or light purple in color and look like shapala flowers. Its petals are smooth and tender and bell-shaped. The center of the flower has a deep purple color which enhances the beauty of the flower. The flowers of the grafted vine usually bloom in the early morning and gradually close during the day. I captured it shortly after dawn. The flowers are very soft and exude sweetness when swayed in the light breeze creating a beautiful scene amidst nature.

The flower you see in the above picture is the Kachuripana flower. It is mostly found in flood water. The beauty of Kachuripana flowers is truly mesmerizing. These flowers are usually purple or bluish in color. Sometimes pink or white flowers are also seen. Each flower petal is very soft and tender, and has a yellow or golden dot towards the center which enhances the beauty of the flower. Kachuripana flowers float on the water and when these floating flowers bloom together, a purple blanket is spread over the water. Its petal design and color combination is a unique work of nature. Although kachuripana is considered by many as a weed. Its flowers play an extraordinary role in enhancing the beauty of nature. I took this picture after the cachuripana flowers bloomed next to our house just after the flood waters receded.
