The combination of two words, i.e., social evil, depicts the darker face of a society. By studying the types of social evil, one can easily figure out the basic problematic issues ( both the causes and impacts) in a society.

Social evils are exactly the reflection of what kind of poison flows in the veins of a sapian's society.

What are the social evils that are spreading rapidly in your society?

My home town is one of the fastest growing cities in Pakistan, but if I talk about awareness and cognizant, then unfortunately it is lower than expectations, particularly in rural areas.

That's why the sprouting of social evil is more common comparatively. Begging, robberies, child labour, narcotics, gender discrimination, honour killing, illiteracy, dishonesty with a lot of consequences spreading widely in society.

What are the reasons for its spread?

The main cause of these social evils in my society are lack of education and intolerance and the bigot nature of society. Rich and poor, men and women, treated in separate manners and so they can't understand each other and their interaction in society results in terms of social evil.

What are its effects on society and people?

Well, the social evils cost tranquility. Imprints may be even worse and raise new kinds of evils.It causes permanent hampers in the progress of a society. It triggers poverty, inequality, injustice, woes, instability and apathy.

The eradication of social evils from society can't take place abruptly. But a gradual, prolonged yet effective plan is needed to set a society with better norms.

Education is a fundamental requirement for the betterment of society. Particularly moral education at grassroot level is essential for improvement. It can lay a foundation that can gradually rise. The next aspect which must be taken into consideration is social justice. Progressive thought to eliminate poverty is compulsory because if we get success in it we must overshadow the social evils.
