Hi guys,
It’s great to be participating in the steem4bloggers contest. Well, I love technology so anything about technology excites me.
Technology has made life easier for most of us. For most of us, we can't go a day without using something or an invention related to technology. Some might deny it, but I don't believe the idea that some people don't use technology daily. You can try your best not to use these devices but since it forms part of our lives now we are forced into using them.
Of all my devices, I am attached to my laptop and phone. If I was asked this question a year ago I would have said I use my Laptop more. A year ago I loved steemit on a laptop. A year ago my laptop was my right hand man and I neglected my phone totally. But after a year I can confidently say that my phone has taken the position of my laptop.
To be sincere I use two phones; an 11 pro max and a Samsung A10s. But I seem to be more attached to the Samsung A10s. This phone has been with me for 3 years. Three years ago I bought the A10s for 700 cedis which is currently equivalent to 259.6 steem
When I bought my phone I was not on steemit yet. I joined steemit last yea. At that time I loved steeming on my laptop because that was what I started with. I was forced to use my phone to steem when my laptop developed a fault. When this happened my phone became my companion. I must say that before using my phone to steem I always found it difficult to use even though others said they used their phone to steem.
The Samsung A10s is a dual sim phone. It has a 32 GB storage capacity and runs on a 2 Gb ram. Currently, my A10s runs on Android 11 even though it can be updated to the new android 12.
It runs on a Samsung one UI core version 3.1. It has a 4000mAh battery capacity which should last about 5-6 hours after a full charge.
The Samsung A10s has a fingerprint sensor at the back. It also has a face recognition feature which I have disabled. I disabled it because of how slow and inefficient it has become.
The face recognition feature on a lower-budget Samsung phone is not as smart as the one on an iPhone; I would have said on a Samsung device but since I've never used a high-end Samsung device I would be lying if I made such a conclusion. The face recognition on my A10s works perfectly during the day but in the dark, it won't open unless there is light close to your face.
Apart from it being inefficient, the fingerprint sensor is more secure and faster so I prefer using it.
In the table below you can see a summary of the features of the A10s
Storage | 32 GB |
---|---|
Ram | 2GB |
Security | Face recognition and Fingerprint |
Android version | Android 11 |
Color | Black |
Camera | 13 MP |
Battery | 4000mAh |
External storage(memory card) | Yes |
Would I advice anyone to buy the A10s?
Yes, why wouldn't I. I must first of all admit that I am a huge Samsung fan. So one might say its the reason I love my Samsung soo much. But let's look at it this way.
Are you under budget and are looking for a phone that not too expensive? Then the A10s is the phone for you. It has a 32Gb memory and an option for you to add storage with an external sd card. A 2 gb ram can do a lot of things and in fact it can even play call of duty. It's a good phone considering its price. I will give my Samsung A 8/10 rating considering the fact that its a budget phone
