Happy Sunday friends how was your night? Is really rainy heavily in my area today and am currently in the church, there's no crowd in the church at all today. I thank one of my best steemians @malikusman1 for organizing this wonderful contest. Sports are very amazing because of the way it keeps our bidy fit and also the morning involve in it when we play nationals and internationals.

What is the national sport of your country?

The name of my country is Nigeria and our National sport is known as Football. Football is a sport 85% of Nigerians loves so much and most times I wonder why Nigerians love this sport alot. I myself also love this sport.

Football is a sport which contains 11 players, is played in a field and is also a non-contact sport. Nigeria is known to always encourage their players whenever they represent them in world cups. So many children loves football and is a sport for all, both old men and women, young children and youths. Nigeria has a high passion for football and most people also bet football games in bet9ja centers here in Nigeria.

Do you play it? If yes, tell us about your routine.

Yes I do play football, this sport has made me gotten alot of friends because am a very talented football player and I always score goals each time I play football with my friends and classmates. I always try my best to ensure that I never let my teammates down whenever we are playing football together.

I always make sure that I play football at least once a week because I can't stay without it. The picture above shows me and my friends playing football under the rain and this happened yesterday morning, upon rain was about to fall, we didn't change our minds, we continued playing till the rain finally started and it worried us a little but we remained focused.

Do your country won any World Cups related to this sport?

My country Nigeria hasn't won world cup before, we have been trying our best to win a world cup for many years and up till now we haven't won any. I just wish we can win a world cup someday. Recently the women FIFA world cup ended and Nigeria wasn't the winner, the were disqualified while trying to progress and we were all sad as soon as England won us through penalties.

I must confess that our female players really tried this year and am sure they will put on more effort next time. Spain won the world cup and they are very happy till now, the world recognizes them for their efforts and FIFA paid them a very huge amount of money for winning, they are really lucky.

What is your favourite player in this sport?

My favorite player is Alex Iwobi, he's a very talented Nigerian football player and he's always good at what he does. Alex Iwobi was a player of a foreign football club known as Everton and he really tried in that team. I recently discovered that he was sold to another foreign football club known as Fulham.

Everton played yesterday with a particular football club and the match ended with a draw, am sure that if Alex was in the match, they would have won but he's no longer in the team. I think Fulham played yesterday but I wasn't able to watch the match if not I would have seen Alex playing again as am sure he won't be in substitution, he will play the game full time.
