The moment I saw the topic of the contest, I knew I would definitely participate in this one so I quickly voted and re-steemed.
Being a big time movie lover, it would be definitely hard to pick just one out of all the movies I've watched in 2023 but I will try.
What type of movies do you like to watch? Tell us the reason. |
---|
I can watch a wide range of movies but scary movie is a big no no for me. I enjoy cartoons, romantic comedies, Christian movies, histological drama, Korean drama series, Chinese drama but my favourites are funny movies.
A movie with enough suspense, good jokes, amazing plot twist, actors that are able to pull their roles effectively and definitely a little bit romance is a completely irresistible combination for me.
Which one is your favorite movie of 2023? Why did you like it? |
---|
For the year 2023, I watched quite alot of movies but the two movies I will say are rather very memorable is "Battle on Buka Street" and also "Accidental King".
Battle on Buka Street was directed by funke Akindele and she also played a major role in the movie. It was directed and acted in my very own country, Nigeria.
The main eye turner in this movie at least for me was the cheerful and skilled actors, the jokes, plot twist, the script. It all played out giving it a unique spice. Though I am very picky with my country movies this particular one was epic.
Then, Accidental King, Chukwuebuka Emmanuel Amuzie more popular as Brain Jotter was the main ingredient that differentiated this movie from all random Nigerian king, kingdom, bride, the counter of hope, evil forest movies.
It was a huge delight watching every bit of it. A perfect medicine for a depressing or stressful day. I doubt you can keep a straight face when watching this particular one.
I would say my favourite movies for the year 2023 in Accident king. A clichéd Nigeria village drama but with a spice of Brain Jotter.
Tell us about the main characters of your favorite movie. And did you learn any lesson from your favorite movie? |
---|
The main character was king Ebuka play by Brain Jotter. I learnt quite a lot from this movie. Firstly and also most importantly, just one character with a enough time screen can change the entire result of the same overused plot.
I also learnt some morals;
- Not everyone close to you should be trusted.
- Power currupts and people in position of authority and influence should always be in check of their moral standards.
- We shouldn't let a position of authority change who we are.
- With more power comes more responsibility
- The thirst for power brings out the worst and the best in people.
Do you recommend others to watch this movie? Why? If yes then share the link of your favorite movie. |
---|
Definitely, a good thing is to shared. I recommend this movie to everyone. It is not rated 18 or PG. So it can be viewed by any audience. Subtitles are also available so literally everybody can understand it.
I recommend this movie because tackling life and all the problems it throws at us can be depressing but having something to tickle you for a bit and give you a reason to smile is definitely necessary.
