Like the world of ancient Greece, Africa, no less mysterious place and even postage stamps, can be full of mysteries.
Today, I want to present to you one postage stamp of the Republic of Cameroon issued in 1962.
It depicts Moustached Guenon or Cercopithecus cephus, an interesting creature. One of the features Moustached Guenon is that, like a hamster, she can store food in her cheeks, in special pockets.
This is a 0.5 Central African franc -denomination postage stamp, circulation unknown.
Today, in my collection, there are only three stamps from this series, which, according to many philatelists, should contain 15 stamps.
But, here, the first secret and the first reason to laugh.
The fact is that, in the middle of this series, which is dedicated to the animal world, there is one very strange postage stamp that I have to find in the future.
You won't see animals on this postage stamp.
