Hi Friends,
Here we are at mymy daily food diary post here on Steemit. As usual I am sharing my lunch or my dinner on this post and for today I am sharing my lunch which is Nasi Padang. Nasi padang is simplified vocab for all the food you buy from Nasi Padang Outlet or Restaurant, a Padangese cuisine. Of course the food I refer here must have Nasi or Rice in their menu.
This is my Nasi Padang Today, basically it is a grilled chicken with boiled cassava leafs and some extra hot chili pepper. The taste should be great however due to the chicken was cold, I would say it became so so.
Nasi Padang employs the principal of fast food ready to serve. So they do not cook the food when we order, but the food is already displayed on their cabinet. That's why the grilled one usually gets cold first.
This is fish cracker, not some throwing ninja weapon. Kids usually tend to play this food, not eat them directly. Most Indonesian love this fish cracker, or we call this as Kerupuk. It is great not due to the taste, but it can boost your appetite. it give a crispy sensation when you bite and chew it and due to the a bit plain taste, It can mix well with any kind of food you have.
