I am not sure why this flower is called Bengal trumpet, it might be because they originated from India, Bengal, nepal, but has been going around the world. And its latin name is Thunbergia grandiflora.

And the shape of the flower does resemble the shape of the trumpet, small at the base has a big petals in the end.
Here they are used as a covered up plant for some pargola, which could gave a very nice shade as they also have big sturdy leaves.
