Tomorrow she will turn six and her eyesight is week at her early age. It has reason because she watching cartoons and videos since she was born. She watched videos on both smartphone and tab. She was surrounded with electronic device and her father also has eyesight issues so she needs to have the eyeglasses too with recommended power in it. I pity to her because she is a baby to me!
Actually I'm talking about my only niece. It feels like she was born just few days ago but its already six years now. The common fact between us is, we both born in the same month July (different years). My birthday is 4th of July and her birthday is 9th of July. When I was born the smartphone was not invented and I'm glad that my parents had no eyesight issues. When I were a kid, my parents provided foods with real nutrition and mostly organic fresh foods as a result our (mine and my siblings) eyesight is still fine.
We had plenty of leafy veggies with rich nutrition and vitamin A which is good for our eyesight. We had a good life where we had less connection with electronic device that affect our eyesight. Luckily our parents saved money on our medical treatment as we had a good balanced diet and lifestyle. Today's kids are addicted to smart device and it has several bad impact on our organs inside the body. Gradually some symptoms come out and we need to consult specialist or physicians.
A doctor (eye specialist) recommend her to keep safe distance between electronic device screen to keep her eyes safe and she will be given a power eyeglass for her weak eyesight. Doctor shows hope to her mother that she can get back her eyesight as she consult doctor at the early stage of eyesight damage. She is not alone, there are many kids wear eyeglass for having eye issues and when I see this I feel pity to them and also feel how blessed I am!
Her mother (my sister) once predicted that I'll lost my eyesight soon because I bought a laptop and spent maximum time with it. Fortunately I'm using laptops for 9 years and my eyesight works as it worked in the past. I feel really very blessed and endless thanks to my Almighty Allah for blessing me with a healthy life with healthy organs or body parts. I'll try my best to take care of my organs till the rest of my life.
