Yes, our memory is absolute. If we do not remember something, it is not a problem of memorization, but the problem of reproducing what is recorded in memory)
I'm not really inclined to reminisce. We must live here and now. Only this life is real (although I'm not very sure about that either :).
But photos have the properties to send us on time travel... :-)
