I went through one of the most unpleasant periods of my life. I heard that my best friend had to fight a serious illness. In fact, just imagining now what I had to find out is like a hammer blow, it hurt so much.
We were friends for years, and while warmth and support had always helped me get out of difficult situations, I suddenly became helpless and devastated, knowing that there was nothing I could do for my friend. I spent a lot of time in the hospital with him during his recovery. It was a shame to see him weak, exhausted, nauseous, discouraged. But I saw strength in that.
One of my favorite moments was when he told me he wanted to hear me read the book. I said, being in the wet antiseptic atmosphere of the hospital, with the noisy sounds of medical machines and the moss of voices. And I saw his life in his mind. Even though everything was sick for him, I saw that there was something connected. It was so reassuring that there is love again, when it is most useful. This is not only a story of illness, but also of strength, hope and friendship. And I hope I always remember to combine them.
Talking about it, I started to really pay attention to social activities. I joined local organizations that helped patients and their families, held fundraisers, and mental health campaigns. I started volunteering at hospitals, where I would say kind words to patients and listen to their stories. Not only did this help, but it also gave them a chance to open up.
all it took was a listening ear or a few words of encouragement to help someone unburden themselves. I also started attending yoga and meditation classes for those in recovery, where we could express and support each other. These activities not only helped people unwind, but they also transformed me into someone with a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment in life.
Almost every time I see the smiles on someone I’ve helped, or hear them share how their support has helped them, I feel like my contribution is something bigger than myself.
that's my story On this occasion, I hope what I convey can be a lesson for all of us And I hope we are all always enthusiastic in carrying out our daily activities, hopefully everything we want and plan can go as it should On this occasion I also want to invite my friends to participate in this contest @antika @sonuihkwanul @ershu361
thank you for all your attention, I apologize for any shortcomings, thank you
