Mercy is a great virtue and we all have experience of it more or less. There is a proverb or quote that I read many times and learn from it and it was, "Forgive the person, but remember the lesson!" So I try to let things go and give mercy but never forget the lesson I learn for life.
It can be hard to forgive the person who deserves a punishment but sometimes forgiving is the best revenge that we don't even know. If we give mercy to people who asked for this, Almighty will bless us with mercy too and I'm a believer of that. Today in this blog I'll share my life incident when I gave mercy to others.
It happened in my school life. There was a group of girls in my class who loves to bully others. I become the victim of their bully. It was when we were in 5th standard in school and only 9 years old. They bully me with my name, my performances in the class and my attitude to ignore them.
Yes, I was a kid and I had no maturity to deal with them so I couldn't be a friend to them and always tried to ignore them to save myself from unexpected and constant bully. This affect my mental health and I cried over night. My performance on study was getting worse and my parents changed my school.
After changing school the issue were solved and with the time I was trying to get me out from that trauma. Many years later when I met them, some of them were guilty for their behavior and asked mercy to me. I was kind enough to forgive them because the time was past and we can't hold the bad memories of past so I forgive and made them friends.
Its true that I forgave those whose asked for mercy but I believe some people never can be change and they can be harmful so I tried not to be so close to them and that was my lesson that I couldn't trust people who already broken my trust and was involved in bully. Maybe I was not one with whom they did this but this kind of people can't be a trustworthy but yes I gave mercy and became friendly when met. I wish I never ever meet anyone of them or anyone like them.

Thanks for inviting me, but as usual I always post the very first day when the keyword is published. I have already done that although not as merciful as yours.
