I just listened to the secret witness recording!

I don't see this working out smoothly.

Here is the link: https://steempeak.com/steem/@ura-soul/justin-sun-conversation-with-witnesses-is-online-ned-sold-out-the-community-failed-to-disclose

The exchanges are screwed, as long as we hold 5 witnesses.
If they have to buy steem to stay liquid, we better stop selling for less than 4usd.

Justin seemed adamant about rescuing as much of his plan as he could.
He promised those exchanges a hardfork releasing the stake that they stole.
The witnesses thought that was funny, and declared that idea DOA.

Some very valuable lessons will be learned from this, on both sides.

@justinsunsteemit has failed to bulldog us like we were some punks.

According to what was said, Justin just wants to make money.

He was defrauded by Ned.

I can live with that.

We will have to see what the future brings, but it appears that we can make a win win out of this, for us, if not for the exchanges.
They look, and should be, screwed.

I have been here long enough to be totally optimistic about our near future.

Those exchanges/Justin will have to pay to get the funds to make their customers whole, again.
30m steem won't come cheap, if the greedy Ned's still here don't screw us some more by dumping at .2usd.

If we won't sell a steem for less than 4usd, this cluster could look really profitable, and steem much more viable as a platform.

Stop selling steem so cheap!

Use your SBD, it is here to decrease the $80m pizzas.

Life is looking good, steemizens!
Steem on!

Please crosspost this where you feel it is needed.

Thanks for the link to 'published' conversation between Tron and Steem/Steem Reps; I might have found out about it much later otherwise.

Since the audio quality was poor on my end (sound level variations) I'm still not sure of the various Steem 'Dev/Witness' by name, but that guy who bowed out early because the smallest of agreement like 'Retraction of the Sun/TronTweet about accusatory "hacking" ' could not be reached, indicated that 'Sun/Tron' cannot be viewed as anything more than malevolent actors.

Emotions are running high, but consensus is designed to dull the sharp edges.
This is the best I've seen steem look since I got here.
No more albatross around our neck and competent Devs to move us forward.

Yep, I have thought of that too, this could become a very pricy play by Justin... A mobster move that turned out badly, could get messy for him!

I've also been saying if Sun flash crashes the market we might be able to buy back our independence pretty cheaply and quickly. We want Binance liquidity to get drained in both directions. We want a big gap between buyers and sellers so they can't use their money to maneuver around us.

Exactly.
This could work out well for us.

Way to go @freebornangel! I'll take $100 per STEEM though, not $4!

Yeah, more than 5usd and it doesn't make sense to buy, to me.
We could happily fluctuate around that, though.
We would have much happier steemizens, IMO.

Screw those exchanges for what they have done.

Absolutely, we must punish them severely so no other rexchange dares to even think about doing what these three have done.

JS was just defending himself, but those exchanges should never do this, again.
