Hello my dearest steem Travelers, I hope you all are doing well. Today I want to share to you on how to prepare native Moi-Moi Using Maize Flour recipe when you travel to my locality Uyo. This is the Moi-Moi I have been waited for past ten years, now I'm happy to have it here. So I decided to go to farm and harvest Maize.
Maize flour
Fish 6 steem
Cow skin (kpomo) 2steem
Crayfish 2steem
Maggi 4cubes
Dry pepper 2tsf
Fresh pepper 1 steem
Salt
Queen curry I sachet
Onions 3piece
Palm oil 2 steem
Groundnut oil 3 steem
Nylon 1 steem
STEP ONE
First, I cut the Maize and remove the pill so as to continue the process, since I didn't want to use the public grinder I decided to use manpower grater to grind the Maize, also used mortar and pestle to grind some that wasn't properly grinded by the grater. I later used my Siever to extract hard particles that wasn't grinded properly.
STEP 2
After streaming my fish and cow skin(kpomo) I fry the fish using groundnut oil and queen curry to gives me good aroma and yummy taste.
I pour the Maize flour into mortar and added 150cl of water and stir it properly, while stirring It I put all the above ingredients and a little Palm oil that will give me a native colour. I turned in the fried fish and taste
Since there is no nearby market today to buy Moi-Moi leafs I substitute it with nylon, after washing the nylons I scooped 2 spoonful into each nylon, tied up into the pot and steamed for about 30 minutes.
Finally my long awaited native Moi-Moi is ready for consuming.
