GAYO HIGHLAND

Good afternoon, steemians wherever you are. Today I have the opportunity to tell you about my journey to the district of Central Aceh or often said to be the Cold City, which is a gayo highland, one of the districts in the central region of Aceh Province, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam

My family and I went to Takengon in order to have a vacation at the end of the month, we left one car from the house in North Aceh Regency via the inter-district road, namely through the KKA Simpang road towards Mount Salak, it only took us 3 hours to arrive in the city of Takengon.

On the way, I also had time to take some photos which clearly show how the weather conditions were cloudy along the way and the expanse of mountains from a distance. Arriving in the city of Takengon, we took a short break to unwind while having lunch, then we headed to the Gayo Highland tourist location or also called BUR Gayo, which is above an altitude of 3,600 m above sea level, From the height of But Gayo, we can see the whole the face of the cold city and also the entire surface of the lake. Fresh sea is very amazing surrounded by mountains,

About 2 hours more we were above the altitude to enjoy the view and also take pictures with the family, After a while enjoying the view we finally agreed to go back down to the cold city to rest and eat and drink before continuing the journey home.

Around 6 pm we started moving back home taking a different path From the road we took when we left this morning, this time we took the return road through Bireuen district (Juang city) which then continued towards Lhokseumawe City and then headed to our residence, namely the District North Aceh.

Thank God we arrived home safely after maghrib around 9 pm, with tired faces but very pleasant, then we immediately took a break. that's our end of month holiday trip yesterday, hopefully the Steemians wherever they are like it
