Medical treatment is a fundamental right for every citizen of any country. A hospital is a good place for treatment and a doctor's emergency room with medical equipment. Today I am going to write about this hospital (Private vs Govt). I thank @abdullahw2 for organizing a contest on such a topic. Considering the situation in Bangladesh, the difference between private versus government hospitals can be easily guessed.

What are the main differences between pubic and private hospitals, in terms of care and quality?

Private hospitals will be ahead in terms of care and quality. Let's look at some real differences.
Government Hospital:
Although government hospitals have modern equipment, most of the time patients do not get proper medical care due to negligence of nurses and doctors while providing services. Government hospitals have high quality medical equipment's but due to careless neglect most of the equipment's become useless. The space in government hospitals is very large which creates a good environment for the patients. Doctors are always available in government medicals along with medical students (interns).

Private Hospital
Private hospitals provide good quality of service but require a lot of money. Private hospitals are always clean which maintains a hygienic environment. Many private hospitals also serve private medical interns. If you want to get treatment comfortably and you are not short of money, private hospitals offer the best medical services.

In your country, how does the cost of treatment in public and private hospitals differ?

Treatment costs in government hospitals in Bangladesh are usually much lower than in private hospitals becomes For modern equipment in government hospitals, the government allocates a budget every fiscal year to purchase modern medical equipment for the citizens. The salary of doctors in government hospitals comes from the government fund so no separate fee has to be paid. Many times we get certain medicines from government hospitals which further reduces the cost.

After receiving treatment in a private hospital, the bill paper gives a lot of fear to the patient. By adding all the bills in private hospitals, the overall cost in private hospitals is higher.

Which type of hospital do you prefer for regular check-ups and why?

As a student I go to places where the cost is less and the treatment is better. Although the treatment in government hospitals is modern, we get poor service due to negligence. I mostly go to government hospital for primary treatment where doctors are available all the time. I paid 10 taka (.50 STEEM) and collected the ticket and saw the doctor at the government hospital.

I was in the hospital a long time ago and the memory of that hospital still scares me. I was hospitalized for my food poisoning. We went to the government hospital and didn't get a bed. I stayed for three days and was released when my condition improved.
