Cases are being filed in various districts in cases of violent deaths surrounding the anti-discrimination movement across the country. Former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and former influential ministers-MPs have been accused in the murder case committed in at least four districts of the country on Monday.
Dhaka: A case was filed yesterday against ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and 27 people on charges of genocide and crimes against humanity.During the quota reform movement, they have been accused of indiscriminate shooting and killing of unarmed students across the country.

In addition to individuals, Awami League, Jubo League and Chhatra League have also been accused in the case. Apart from this, unidentified activists of Awami League, Jubo League, Chhatra League and unidentified officers and members of the police have been accused.

Abul Hasan, father of Shahriar Hasan Alvee(15), , a ninth grade student of Desh Polytechnic College, Mirpur, who was killed in the agitation, filed this case with the investigative body of the International Criminal Tribunal. Later his lawyer Asad Uddin confirmed the application of the case.

The other accused in this case along with Sheikh Hasina are Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) president Hasanul Haque Inu, Workers Party president Rashed Khan Menon, former ministers Anwar Hossain Manju, Obaidul Quader, Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Anisul Haque, Hashan Mahmud, Jahangir Kabir Nanak, former Prime Minister's advisor Salman F Rahman, former state minister Junaid Ahmed Palak, Mohammad Ali Arafat, Kamal Ahmed Majumdar, Tariqat Federation president Syed Najibul Bashar Maizbhandari and Jubo League general secretary Mainul Hasan Nikhil.

Chittagong : A case has been registered regarding the shooting death of Wasim Akram, a student of Chittagong College and joint convener of the college branch Chhatra Dal. Former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, former bridge minister and general secretary of Awami League Obaidul Quader, former foreign minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud, former Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Naufel, Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation Mohammad Rezaul Karim, former Member of Parliament Mohiuddin Bachchu, 108 names have been mentioned. Another 100 to 150 are unknown accused.

It is mentioned in the statement of the case, Wasim Akram was in front of Barcode Restaurant in Muradpur of Panchlaish police station during the students' rally on July 16 in the logical movement of the students. Rangpur: 119 people including Sheikh Hasina, Obaidul Quader, former home minister, law minister, foreign minister and senior police officer have been made accused in yesterday's murder case in Rangpur Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court.

Alauddin Alamgir, the lawyer of the deceased Manik Mia, said that the deceased's mother Nurjan Begum filed the murder case as the plaintiff. On July 19, auto driver Manik was killed by police firing and rubber bullets in Modern Mor area of ​​the city.

Siddhirganj (Narayanganj): A murder case has been filed against Sheikh Hasina, Obaidul Quader and 62 others in connection with the shooting death of Milon, a fish trader during the student movement. Milon's wife Shahnaz Begum filed this case at Siddhirganj police station yesterday. Milon used to trade fish in Siddhirganj pool area. His village home is in Jhatka village of Angaria union of Dumki police station of Patuakhali.

According to the statement of the case, businessman Milan Mia and his two nieces were going to catch fish at the Shimrail intersection of Dhaka-Chittagong road on July 21. At that time, the people of Awami League, Jubo League and Chhatra League opened fire on the students. Then Milan Mia was shot in the chest. He later died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The 62 defendants in the case include Shamim Osman, former Member of Parliament of Narayanganj-4 Constituency, Shamim Osman's son Ayan Osman, nephew Ajmeri Osman, Motiur Rahman Moti of Narayanganj City Corporation Council, Siddhirganj Thana Awami League President Mujibur Rahman, General Secretary Yasin Mia and others.
