This post should have been written yesterday but d
ue to some personal issues I want to write it today and I know is not late,

The last Monday will complete our two weeks black in my city aba abia state.

Is been really terrible staying without light in a whole city for two whole weeks, sincerely this is the first time I experience something like that although we don't have steady light in Nigeria but not a whole city on black out.

Yesterday around 6pm the light was restored and even the blind would imagine the excitement on people's faces, the shout, the noise and the happiness on people's faces.

I was coming back from the bank with my sister when I saw the light and immediately I started running home, as we were running home I heard some people ask questions like ** is this really light** ** so this people has finally remembered us**.

The questions really made me laugh and happy yesterday night

And that's brought me to the saying that light is a very beautiful thing.

Imagine if the heavenly father didn't give us light, imagine the world in deep darkness, I salute my heavenly father for giving us this beautiful gift.

The cause of the black out

It is said that the individual responsible for collecting NEPA bills don't give proper account of the money they collect from people and when the person found out, he or she realized that a sum of three - four million was missing and so in anger he,she or the group of people disconnected the light and starved us of light for a whole two weeks,
that's very terrible

How did people manage that season

It was very terrible infact I've decided that once I get money I will buy a personal transformers and anything that will give me 24 hours light without the help of power supply 🤩.

I don't know if these happens only in Nigeria or if it happens in every country

Anytime there is a problem in the country people tend to use the opportunity to make more money instead of just helping people just like during cashless policy in Nigeria people that operate in point of sale use that opportunity to build houses and buy cars.

And now just two weeks of black out people started charging phone for other and in return you pay them,
The pay was 100 naira which is approximately 1 steem or 1/2 steem every day even if your phone is not fully charged they don't care.

Calculating it by how many people that will come that day, you will see that opportunity really came for them.

Another way that people survive is by buying generator

Even people who didn't plan buying one bought generator this season

Another way is solar energy

have a friend who bought a solar energy just because of this blackout, he said he bought it 25 thousand naira just because of black out season.

Lessons it taught me

Though the black out season was terrible but I learnt that *no Condition is permanent" and no matter any circumstances there is surely a way out

I came to this conclusion because of the many means through with people survived like my mum no longer wait for power supply before cooking rather she makes sure the cylinder has enough gas to last us and we pay to charge our phones in other to allow stay online

Hello friend, the situation they lived in is terrible. A blackout is very bad, here in Venezuela you also live with frequent power outages. So I understand what they go through. Greetings and blessings!!

Oh, I thought these only happens here in Nigeria.

Thanks for letting me know
