ACCORDING TO YOU WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STEEMIT AND OTHER SOCIAL PLATFORM.

For me I would say that the main difference between the steem block chain and other social platform is clearly seen in their design, structure, programming and management.

In terms of management or governance, the steemit platform operates on the block chain technology and as such it decentralized unlike other social media platforms which operates on centralized servers owned and controlled by a single entity.

Additionally, engagement and participation in other social platforms is basically driven by the need to communicate or chat with friends or you can say it's all about having fun but on the other hand the Steemit block chain employs cryptocurrency incentives, such as Steem tokens, to reward and encourage users to participate and engage in the platform.

HOW DO YOU LIKE TO PROMOTE STEEM BLOCK CHAIN IE THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA OR ONLINE MEETING WITH PEOPLE

Personally, I feel and think that promoting Steemit offline is the preferable option and that is because I believe it has and ensures higher chances of recruiting new users and help them register and open an account on the steemit platform.

Face to face promotion allows you to know for a fact if the person you are trying to introduce to the platform is really interested, it also allows you to have detailed conversations, explaining all the features and benefits of the steemit platform, teaching them how to generate and secure their keys, all of which can be hard to do online.

Offline promotion offers and allows the opportunity for you to connect directly with your recruits and potential fellow steemian, making it easier to build a supportive community and making the steemit platform feel more accessible and inviting to everyone.

WHAT STRATEGIES WILL YOU EMPLOY TO ENGAGE RETAIN NEW USERS ONCE THEY JOIN STEEMIT

One way and strategy of engaging and retaining new users is by providing access to educational contents just like the one created by @cryptokannon to help newcomers complete their achievement post whilst educating them basically teaching them a lot like how to apply markdown, how to safeguard their keys and the different purposes of the keys.

Another way of retaining new users in the steemit platform is by making sure their post is not constantly overlooked for support, support should be made fair and not censored, if this is done and the new steemit users or steemians are rewarded when they make quality post and engage with other users and steemians then I think they would have no reason to quit, because then steem block chain will have become everything they were promised when they were recruited.

Lastly, I would say that we should employ personalized Outreach seeing as everyone loves a little bit of attention and wants to be recognized and encouraged for the efforts they make, having certain individuals perhaps community moderators reach out makes these new recruits feel like they belong in the steemit community and this would go along way in boosting their morale to grow and also engage with others in the community.
