Greetings, my fellow steemians. I'm happy to see you all in this beautiful week, and I hopefully believe everyone here is doing well. I appreciate @abdullahw2 for organising this amazing context in Hot News Community, which tilted "private vs. public hospital" let me invite my lovely friends @josepha @m-fdo @ngoenyi and @entity01 to engage in ths amazing context.

Topic 👉 Private and Public Hospital.

Private hospitals are those medical care that they manage independently without the government. It can be owned by one person or any other entity's. While public hospitals are those that operate by the government.

Question one.
IN TERMS OF CARE AND QUALITY, WHAT ARE THE MAIN DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE HOSPITAL

(1)In private hospitals, they provide high excellent care for patients, while in Public Hospital, they don't have good medical care for their patients due to budget captivity.
(2) private hospitals have more advantages in terms of doctors' responses to the patients. The ratio is much lesser, but in public hospitals, before you can able to see the doctor, it is like someone who's looking for a visa to travel. It can only be few patients that can be seen by the physician.

Question two.
IN YOUR COUNTRY, HOW IS THE COST OF TREATMENT DIFFERENT FROM PRIVATE AND PUBLIC HOSPITALS?

Talking about the cost, it's well known that private hospitals are more expensive than public hospitals. Here are my reasons why private hospitals are more expensive. Private hospitals usually afford more snug facilities and make distinctive services together with private rooms and other appliances, and remember this is owned by a single or group of entities, not the government, so it will make their costs different and they're responding to their patients immediately and offering them a good comfort. So before you can offer all this to the patients, it needs money to function. That's the reason why their drugs, treatment bills, and others are very expensive. But in public hospitals, you will be delayed , poor facility management, and uncomfortable. The only advantage is the low budget constraints

Question three.
WHICH TYPE OF HOSPITAL DO YOU PREFER FOR REGULAR CHECKUPS, AND WHY?,

I prefer private hospitals, and i want to convince others that private hospitals are much better than public hospitals. Because the only thing that's they is the attention that you will receive from the private hospitals and that's the major things in all the hospital "Attention " matters alot. I know the costs of private hospitals are very expensive but they will definitely attend to you in time. The time you will spend in public hospitals still yet you'll not even see the physician, and you definitely know time is money. So I'm asking, is it not better if you go for a place you spend high and they will attend to you on time and you'll return to work or your businesses place. Or do you prefer the one you will spend all days without any results.

Question four.
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN HOSPITALISED? HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE?

YES, it was in public hospital that i experienced what marvelled me and made me dislike public hospitals. The attention towards patients is typically poor, but they attended to me very snappy because of my mother. She is a metron in that hospital, but they were patients who were there before me, but they attended to me before them to show how bad the public hospitals are. Because I'm their metro son, you abandoned others who were there before me . Common, this doesn't make any sense to me. The government has to wake up and do the needful to make our public hospitals best of all. In my country, Nigeria, the salary of a professional doctor who studied for years can't even feed him for a complete one month talk more of house rent. Had it been the government, are they taking good care of public hospitals by doing what they were supposed to do? i believe nobody would think of going to private hospitals.

Thank you if you come across this post and remember this is my own opinion out of experiences. Have a nice day 🤝

Private hospitals are clearly better, in terms of service, medicine and rooms are definitely the best, because they sell facilities so that we can stay there. Unlike government hospitals, all of them are di subsidi, low income leads to lack of awareness of hospital staff to provide the best treatment.

Greetings dear 😘 thanks for your comment.

its a good thing to have someone in the medical field in the family. You were lucky, if not that your mother was a metron there, they would not have attended to you.

I don't think the government is wholely the issue in the public hospitals. It's the personality problem because the government are paying salaries on time and giving the few tools they can but i have seen doctors from public hospital taking government provided tools to their private hospitals or even selling them to make money, meanwhile it was suppose to be given out for free.

People should be dedicated to what they do and also be transparent. Nurses in the public hospital should learn to be caring and pay more attention to their patients.
All the best dear friend.

My dear i love your comment..... but the salary that the government are paying the doctors is it enough.

Salary is not enough for civil servants again in our country o. We are suffering too much. It is well o.

Some private nurses needs more training
