How does Steemit differ from other social media sites? Explain in a few paragraphs.
The steemit platform is a decentralized social media site which runs on the steem blockchain. Steemit being a decentralized site renders it users the authority or power to govern the site themselves. Unlike in the case of the centralized ones, where a particular group of people or a third party owns the site and does not guarantee the users total freedom on the site. The steemit platform unlike other sites is a decentralized content voting system. That is to say here on the steemit platform, users get to create content based on the topic of their interest. Whereas the content or post they put out here is being voted or say curated by other users on the platform.

The curating on the steemit platform is just as the reward one earns or get for putting out a content or post here. The steemit platform rewards it users with it native coin, that is steem, steem dollar and the TRX. These are the coins the steemit rewards it users in. The steemit platform is an open source platform which renders it absolutely different from other social media site which are close source there by restricting it users from being able to contribute in the growth or evolution of those particular sites.

How to get digital tokens on Steemit? Explain in a few paragraphs.
To get a digital token is very easy and simple. Which is after one has successfully signed up for the platform. The next thing for you to do is to join any of the communities from the numerous communities on the platform. This is because one will be able to interact and post content only those communities. After that, one can begin to post content and then get rewarded for every single post they put out there. Not only by creating one’s personal content.

Also, to earn a digital token on steemit, one can earn that by just commenting positively on other users post. So commenting on other users post attracts some tokens for you. Also upvoting or curating on that same post also attracts token for you.

Yes, just by upvoting or curating other users post also attracts token for one on the steemit platform. One gets token as a result of them upvoting an outstanding post on the platform. This shows that almost every single thing one does on the platform attracts some tokens for them. This clearly makes steemit special from other social media platforms.

On the steemit platform, votes casted on a post is divided into two. That is the curators prize and the authors prize. The votes casted carries with it a reward so it being divided into two, one for the author that’s the owner of the content and the other for the curating team. That’s the users who voted or supported the post.

Curation prize is the reward that is being given to the particular persons that voted on a post. This specific reward is for you the group of people who voted on that particular post.

Author’s prize is the part of reward that goes straight to the publisher or creator of the post or content. The price comes to users as half of the actual vote casted by other users. This reward is only for the author of a particular post.

What are curation trails? benefit or harm.
Curation trail is a situation where by members of a particular community tries to create a set of voting mechanism where by all the members in that set automatically caste a vote on a post without the specific users doing it themselves. The curation trail i think is some how helpful. This because the main motive of the steemit platform is to help one another out there. So the introduction of that voting mechanism will automatically caste a vote on every post put out there.
