I'm happy to write to you all in this wonderful community. Am participating in a contest organized by @abdullahw2 whose theme is "Contest Alert !!! || "The News About My Family".

In the past few years, one thing we were lacking was the presence of our Dad, his not being around in the house was making the whole family feel incomplete only saw our Mom in the house and Dad was always away doing work outside the town he visits us only once in a while. This has been a strong challenge to us most especially my younger siblings because kids like playing with their Dad a lot more than their mom specifically male children. But this year my dad is fully back home and all his work is now around the community so my siblings are happy having their Dad around to play and so them the love of a father. So that's one of the latest good news in my family.

One of the bad news from the past in my family that I got that was so scary and made me lose my peace all through the night was when I was told that my younger sister was rushed to the hospital to carry out an operation on her stomach that her intestine was cut inside her stomach so they have to join it back and if was not done that night she could have lost her life. But all glory to God Almighty my sister survived. Though I can't explain everything properly since am not a medical student and don't know much about it.
But that night I was terrified. It happened on a night in my first year at a tertiary institution and it was my first semester, my friends were going to night class before I got a call from my aunt who told me about the incident immediately I got the call my countenance changed and I was restless all that night till I got a call from my Dad that it the operation was carried out successful.

Sincerely speaking I don't have a favorite relative because I love all of my relatives equally no one has a greater part in my heart. But still, I think if there are any of my siblings I'll say my favorite should be my immediate elder brother because it was both of us who lived together when we were sent to school in another state (that's Abia state Nigeria) we shared everything in common they usually call us twins (Aki and pawpaw). We were that close to each other though he was older than me about 3 years yet I grew so fast to be in the same with him.
But now we're all in different places, he's studying in Bayelsa state Nigeria state of origin and I at Rivers State Nigeria.

Steemit is a family where there are rules governing us and elderly ones to look up to who want to see you grow in the platform, so they help in making sure they vote, comment, and also teach you the part way to follow.

Looking out for each other, the steemit family One thing I know is that we look out for each other. Most especially the ones that have stayed on the platform long enough tend to show love to the new ones like us they want us to come to the level they are and also avoid the mistakes they did through ignorance.
