Good Health is priceless, if you are fortunate to be healthy believe me you have everything. Hospital is not somewhere any one can pray to go, haven being there for some reasons I don't feel it's a good place to stay be it private or public.

In terms of care and quality, what are the main differences between pubic and private hospitals?

When it comes to hospital care and quality private hospitals are taking the lead , because it's owned by individual bodies, in private hospitals every staff are being monitored unlike in public hospitals owned by government where the staffs behaves nonchalantly towards their patients.

But in terms of quality the public hospitals can be mentioned, since it's owned by the government they money to buy equipment for quality services are seen compared to some private .

Housing. Private hospitals has more serene and neat environment compared to public hospitals.

Private hospitals treats their patients as important and they attends to them with a smiling face unlike public where the staffs behaves as if they are being owned by the patient due to crowd overwhelming them with workloads.

In your country, how the cost of treatment is different from private and public hospitals?

The difference is very clear , public hospitals are more or less affordable compared to private. Government subsidized some treatment and drugs to be affordable. But getting the proper attention is the problem.

Private is quite expensive that's why they have less patients compared to private. But at the end you will be satisfied.

Which type of hospital do you prefer for regular check-ups, and why?

I can never wish to go public hospitals for check up, because before the protocols and slowish pattern of attending to patients will be bypassed the person's BP will be high. I will always prefer private where I will be well taken care of without much protocols.

I can remember my first trimester during my first pregnancy, I wasn't feeling myself always vomiting and feeling dizzy. The nearest hospital close to us was a public hospital and I was rushed there for check-up and treatment. Immediately we got there to buy card and carrying file from one place to another I almost fainted, when I finally meet with a nurse who was to check my BP and PCV I started vomiting again instead of this nurse to console me she started shouting at me asking me if I'm the first person to become pregnant. What? I became mad at her, from that place I started making calls asking my friends where I can get the best hospital in town and I was directed to a private hospital that gave me a lifetime welcome and good treat. Until now that private hospital is my number one not only me but many others.

Private hospital is good and time conscious in everything but you see public just zero your mind from any other activities because they will take your time sometimes your appointment will be shifted to another day because doctor was or is not on sit.
