According to you what is the main difference between Steem Blockchain and other social platforms?

In my understanding, the major difference between the Steem blockchain and other social media platform is that this platform pays users for posting quality articles and there is much regulation on the platform where everyone is respected.

This is not the same in some of the other social media platform. People talk and do whatever they want in other social media platform and sometimes use abusive words but the case here is completely different.

Here messages can be encrypted and sent so that only the receiver gets to see the content of the message. Also we have several keys here on Steemit use for different purposes. This is not the case of many platform. So this is the key difference between Steemit and other social media.

How do you like to Promote Steem Blockchain i.e through social media or offline meeting with people?

I will prefer an offline meeting with people when it comes to promoting the Steem blockchain. Steemit is not like other social media that you can learn without a mentor and that is why the physically meeting is very important.

I remember when I was introduced to the platform, we had a gathering or a seminar where we were told and guided how to operate within the Steem blockchain.

At some point after a little break and when I came back again, I noticed a lot of difference in the platform I had to follow the updates and changes gradually to be able to operate effectively on the platform again.

So physical meeting helps a user to learn more about the platform and continuos interaction with the platform also helps you to know it better.

What strategies would you employ to engage and retain new users once they join Steemit?

I think the best strategy to retain new users once the join the platform is to hold constant meetings with them always and then encourage them to always remain consistent no matter the little support the may be getting.

Also you will need to advice them from the beginning so that they don't come for the money alone but for the knowledge and what they will learn from the platform.

When they have this in their mindset, then it will be easy for them to be able to remain in the platform even if the support is not forthcoming.
