Head of the East Kalimantan Plantation Service, Ence Achmad Rafiddin Rizal, explained that the decline in FFB prices this period was caused by the increase in the selling price of Crude Palm Oil (CPO). and Kernel from the company that is the data source. For weighted CPO, the weighted average price of kernel (palm kernel) is IDR 7,437.97 per kg with a K index of 87.36 percent. Rizal also detailed the price for the period 1-15 August 2024, namely for FFB harvested from 3 year old trees at a price of IDR 2,374.05 per kg. "At the age of 4 years the price is Rp. 2,534.42 per kg, at the age of 5 years it is priced at Rp. 2,547.42 per kg. "Furthermore, aged 6 years, IDR 2,574.29 per kg," he said in his official statement, Friday (16/8/2024) yesterday. Next, at 7 years old, IDR 2,589.46 per kg, 8 years old IDR 2,609.18 per kg and 9 years old for IDR 2,662.27 per kg and 10 years old IDR 2,693.69 per kg. According to him, the price list for palm oil FFB above is the standard price for farmers who have partnered with companies that own palm oil mills in East Kalimantan, especially plasma plantations. By collaborating with farmer groups and palm oil factories (PMS), it is hoped that the price of farmers' FFB will be in line with normal prices and will no longer be manipulated by middlemen.
