Contests like this are expected to have many participants, I really love the theme of it because is a unique contest I haven't seen in steemit before, is important for steemians to be aware of their civic duties in their various countries and I think my boss @saintkelvin17 is trying to ensure that steemians are still aware of the civic things around them that's why he created this contest.

Citizenship is known as the impact of people in a country, without the people there can't be anything like citizenship, is just like the government which is for the people and so on, the government is related to citizenship and citizens existence makes citizenship exist. Someone must be a citizen of a place as long as the person is alive. All citizens of a country has their own leader who leads them to the right path and ensures that they aren't lacking behind.

How can one become a citizen of a country? Explain one way.

Someone can be the citizen of a country through ways that are now many, is just a matter of choice because is possible for someone to switch where they are citizens and go to another environment to be a citizen. Citizenship do occur by marriage sometimes, we have the one that comes from birth in a particular country and we have the one that comes by naturalization which is more common than that of marriage.

Citizenship by Marriage

This happens mostly between the black and white. It is a process by which a man goes to another country to marry a woman from there and he's willing to live in the country for a long period of time. This man automatically becomes a citizen of his wife country. If he's a Ghanian and his wife is a Portuguese then he has automatically becomes a Portuguese too.

Explain 3 duties of a citizen.

Respecting national symbols: The citizens of a country should try to always endure that they respect their national symbols or other things related to their country. Some are their country anthem, they shouldn't mock it, their country flag and so on.

Participating in elections: Citizens of a country who are eligible to vote during elections, should always vote, this is very important so as to ensure that candidates get the right number of votes.

Obeying the law: Citizens of a very should always ensure that they obey the laws of their leaders, a country has so many rules and the affairs this country runs smoothly if the citizens abide by at least 85% of these rules.

Yes this is genuine and real, steemians are known as citizens of steemit, the thing that makes us steemians is when we successfully get our achievement 1 post verified in steemit which confirms that we can now continue posting in steemit. We makes me a steemian as well is when I create at least 4 posts every week which shows my dedication to this platform. I love steemit alot and I will keep on trying my best to get to the top.
