I'd decided to Deposit some BTC into Poloniex and then convert it and transfer it here, but before I leave the starting blocks, I like to know the course. Could someone please write up a howto? I might be blindingly obvious, or there might be a FAQ somewhere, but I genuinely couldn't find one.
I wanted to make a small contribution to the community and to start a couple of channels, but I'm not able to do either because I can't find my way through this process. Am I missing something obvious? Why isn't there just a wallet to drop the Steem into?
