That she makes you giddy with a smile
Has she held you while you burn with fever
Or held your head while it ached away
You memorized the way her eye twinkles when she smiles
Or how she pulls up her glasses when serious
But you don't have anything of me
How I bite my lips when serious
Or how I lick my lips before smiling
Everything about me irritates you
But you are different in her presence,
Chatting away with the excitement of a little boy
Hope she's the one and makes you happy in the end
Always leaves a smile on your face as I struggled to do each day.
Hope she understands when you are moody and let's you be as I never did
Hope she fights for you to the end and does not give
up on you as I am, with no strength to fight anymore for your attention.
Hope her love never fades away as mine has
Hope my memory stays.
