Unity means togetherness. Creation made it that nothing created can function normal being alone. But in Amos 3 vs 3 a question was posted, "Can two walk together except they agree? That means that unity is the offshoot of agreement. One can chase a thousand enemies but two can chase two thousand. A tree can never make a forest.whatever we desire to have, first desire a wholesome relationship, it can be with your family members, in your work place, street, compound, wherever. Desire unity, as much as lies in your power, put all your efforts at creating unity. A man wanted to teach his children the power of unity, he gave them each a broom stick to break and piam, each broke his. He then gave them a bundle of broom each to break and for hours at length they were struggling without success. So the father told them there that United we stand, divided we fall.
The Psalm quoted above is a very good out play in unity. In this Psalm, the Psalmist made us to know that:
- Unity is good
- Unity is pleasant
- Unity is something to be desired
- It can flow from the leader(head) to the led(skirt)
There is a link between the leader and the led here. The leader cannot achieve much if the led do not cooperate with him. We can achieve more if we walk in unity. Unity breed progressive success because when you are getting tired, the next person can push your shoulders up to continue. Moses, Aaron and Hur proved this fact more. As the Israelites warred with another Nation with Joshua as the Army Captain, Moses stood raising he hands. When the hands got weak, the other Nation took the lead, Aaron and Hur then took stones, supported Moses' hands both sides and held on, thus Israel won the battle. You too can win on a United ground.
Never allow disunity to set in anywhere and in whatever you are doing because if it does, it will take money, effort, time snd even monetary resource to sort it out. If steemit must grow and stay, we must learn to walk and work in unity. I see us on top, climbing the ladder of unity. Congrats in advance.
