It was the fact that it was real that put a smile on my face,
It was the fact that it was not a scam that light me up with joy,
It was the fact that it gave me a platform for expression that made everything else easy.

I remember when I was still at school, we jumped onto many online platforms that turned out to be scams so the fact that Steemit was real gave me great happiness. To know that am not just wasting my time is a very good feeling; and its highly motivating.


It challenged me,
Forced out my creativity,
Pushed me to dig deep into my mind,
Gave me the chance to learn,
It let me dream,
It let me fantasize,
It made me hope for more.

I have always been a writer and writing has always been my best mode of expression...steemit gives me the opportunity to do what i love while having other people from all parts of the world read my work and interact: that is something that gives me great joy too.


And of course I cannot forget the fact that I earn from my work; I remember the first time I cashed out on Steemit, to receive that Money was quiet a big deal because alot of online ventures today are scams...so it was some form.of reassurance. And it made me want to put in more effort and learn more for my betterment.
I thank Steemit for the joy of free expression, learning, hoping, earning and interaction.
