The dream land of Africa
Where we hope to live in peace
With tranquility reigning supreme
Fear of God and modesty over-ride:
Every man his brother's keeper
Abuse of power by leaders extinct

The Eldorado country
Harbouring great minds and positive thinkers
With vision about tomorrow
And not a bunch of political prodigals
That engage in competitive squandermania
At the expense of the downtrodden.

The legendary Dreamland
Of our forefathers which the heroes past
Battled to acquire for generations unborn
But betrayed by a greedy lot
Now reborn by freedom crusaders-
The land of diligent men and women
With lots of hope in the horizon.

We're told it's the promised land
And we dream dreams about tomorrow
Hoping that the ravenous monsters
The helmsman-vampires and betrayers
Won't in their wont hijack the Eldorado
And let the rythms and jingles of the moment
Go on as unchallenged rubbish
The dreams of the freedom crusaders.
