The relationship between humans and animals has been a natural story since ancient times. Both need each other and complement each other in life as living beings. This correlation establishes a harmonious relationship between humans and animals. Call it the true story of a dog (Hachiko) from Japan where his people hang out every day in front of Shibuya Station waiting for Ueno (his master) to come home. Until the end of his life in 1935. We can find the Hachiko dog monument today at Shibuya Station. This legendary story has also been made into a film starring the famous Hollywood actor, Richard Gere.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Columbia-Original Community for organizing an interesting animal-themed contest. This contest can be a creative space for steemit users in campaigning for animal love to the whole world. I also invite @irawandedy @f2i5 and @heriadi to participate in this contest and this is my opinion from the contest statement.
I'm with the cat |

Cruel and immoral are the sentences that crossed my mind when there were still humans who enjoyed torturing animals. There is no reason in this world that would allow that to happen. Frankly, I have never seen animal abuse first hand. But if it happens before my eyes, I will mobilize all resources to prevent or even stop it at any cost. Those who do are sick and psychopathic to the point of having no compassion. But we also cannot close our eyes, that psychopaths exist and animal abuse still occurs.
We also need to be sensitive and responsive to the rise of animal abuse content that is published privately for certain groups. Such content is commercialized and sold for a fee. I've read that 2 content creators from Indonesia have been arrested by the police for producing content that is violent towards animals. The content is ordered by foreigners through certain social media. They will get paid a certain amount for each content they order. Cruel!
Cat is resting with his brother
In my area there are lots of cats that live on the streets, the reason is because the population continues to increase. Cats are sacred animals for Muslim communities, especially in Aceh. Even though they live on the streets, the people of Aceh always give them food. In addition to the humanity factor, this is also influenced by beliefs. Giving food to animals is a good deed that will get a good reward from God and facilitate sustenance.
The majority of Acehnese people also keep cats as pets at home. As for other pets such as dogs or other animals, it is very rare except for certain needs such as security and others.
My pet cat
I have one pet cat. I have adopted this cat for 2 months. Maybe you can see the picture shared, he is accompanying me to make a post for this contest. More precisely disturbing haha.. But this cat is very kind and docile. We all love him.
We treat the cat like part of our family members. We take care of his food and respond quickly when he is sick by giving medicine. Our chemistry is awakened by caring and compassion.
Through this post I also want to invite all of us to increase public awareness of cases of violence against animals that occur, especially in our environment. Then we also need to encourage the government to intensify laws on violence against animals. We hope that these two methods will stop violence against animals. Thanks.
