I am @jollymonoara from Bangladesh .
My best wishes to all the admins and moderators of this community for the 15th session of the Steemit Engagement Challenge. Engagement in this Colombia-Originalcommunity is my first participation and I am very happy to participate in the fifteenth season week 1 of the Steemit Engagement Challenge .
We consume food to survive. This food provides nutrients to our body. Most of the time it is seen that we are busy in the kitchen. It takes us whole day to cook as many meals as possible. This cooking is a one-dish recipe, from which we can learn its chemistry, mathematics, and calculate the administration of cooking. We also have to spend a lot of money for one meal. To maintain the balanced of the diet, it is necessary to take food rich in different types of nutrients.
"SEC S15W1:5 Stars 5 Steem and one original dish"
In this challenge, a low-cost dish is intended to be a substitute for meals, assuming that a person can eat that meal with 5 Seems. good But I will try to present here low-cost dish than 5 Steem.
I am sharing the guidelines to follow to participate in this delicious challenge
Prepare a dish (main dish, salad, dessert, drink, snack, etc.) with an approximate budget of 5 Steem. |

Today, 1 steem price is equal to 23 Bangladeshi taka.
So 5 equals steem= 115 taka. I have 115 taka, out of which I will make a dish which is within my budget. I am making recipe chart according to my budget.
I will share Khichurirecipe here according to my budget within 115 taka so that my total cost is done.

As winter is going on now in our country there are different types of winter vegetables available in winter so I will use winter vegetables in this recipe.
First of all, I will cut the vegetables and wash them separately. Put a pan on the gas stove and put oil first. When the oil is a little hot, add the whole cumin seeds and fry the onion with hot spices.
Then in another bowl I will make a paste with all the spices and water. Pour this paste into the fried onions. When all the spices are ground, I will give the chicken.
After grating the chicken well, I will pour all the vegetables. When the vegetables are cooked, add about two liters of water.
Now shallow fry the mung dal in another pan, then a good flavor will come from the mung dal. Now combine the rice and wash it with clean water.
When the vegetable water boils well, I will pour the dal mixture and stir continuously for a while or it will stick to the bottom of the pan. Cover it with a lid and stir it after a while. When the amount of water in the rice is reduced, a gravy will appear. Then I will add beans and green chillies and after cooking for another five minutes I will remove it from the pan with chopped coriander leaves.
My recipe for today is Chicken VEG Khichuri
And answer: Do you think you can prepare delicious food on a low budget? Explain your answer. |
---|
So the recipe that I am sharing here is Khichuri. This dish is one of my favorite dishes. This food is very popular in our country. Khichuri is very good to eat especially in monsoon or rainy days.
This is like a fantasy of Bengalis, it is not just the satisfaction of taste, it is an eternal traditional desire of Bengalis.
This recipe is full of nutrients for my delicious chicken vegetable Khichdi. Which I can get all kinds of nutrients in one recipe like protein carbohydrates fiber and vitamins and low cholesterol which is very beneficial for body growth.
- This is a delicious meal on a low budget. So I think I can make a delicious meal on a low budget. This low-budget khichuri doubles in quantity after cooking. That's because the rice and dal melt completely due to overcooking, so the quantity is available. So five to six people can eat it easily.
I would invite my friends to the challenge @nushrat,@ab-rafi, and @rashidaakter.
Thank you.

Hola @jollymonoara.

@chucho27 dear
Thank you for supporting me on my post. But yes I used a lot of ingredients, after using so much when everything melts only one color comes out. So finally it doesn't look colorful, only yellow color is seen.

Thank you very much for reviewing my post but it is not difficult to cook. If you want, boil all the ingredients, brown the cumin, onion, garlic in oil and pour it into the boiled khichuri pan. Especially small children are cooked in this way without spices, which is necessary for the health of the child and is very beneficial.

It is a common food item in our country especially when there is a large gathering of people or in a meeting or a donation charity or a festival it is cooked in a big way so that many people in an area can eat it.
