Certainly. I think that happen when I had a conversation with one of my male lecturer. He happened to be a professor. It happens during the fest of the conversation with him. He said few words that I couldn't relate with him the meaning at the moment. All I was doing was to keep nodding my head as if I knew what he what saying. It was really a tough moment for me but at the same time, it was a memory that can't easily erased when ever I come across him.

I recently learned one new words that when I heard them from my lecturer, I didn't know what he was talking about, that is, I knew the context as such, that is, the action he was referring to, but I had never heard these words before.

Dementia

Dementia is a way of losing memory or forgetting something alot. This type of disease really affects old folks.
The lecturer was actually asking me a question and I didn't quite get the answer correctly. So he use the word #Dementia on me. I was so infuriated at the moment and afterwards.

I think that when I talk about my predicament for agriculture, which is my passion, I technically use words that are related to my passion, and I also have an alternative. so I use terms that are often difficult for many people to understand.

Terms like; agrarianism, hydroponic, agrarian etc.

I think that happen to us alot. The new word that I become familiar with and I tend to use it on daily basis is the word myopic thinking.
I heard this word on radio when the commissioner for information was having a conversation with a journalist on how medical doctors were having myopic thinking on salary increments.
(Myopic thinking) It's a word that infuriate people when the use against you.

I think that happens a lot, it is common for all of us at some point to forget a particular word or terms when we are talking about something, it is a situation that causes a lot of curiosity, most especially if one is completely blank. At the moment , you feel embarrassed.

It happened to me sometimes in church when I was opportune to preach. I was skeptical about the word that skipped my mind. At the moment, I wanted to run or have a super power to freeze back the word.
It also happened to me once in a while talking to my friends and it's really awkward, at that moment. Maybe is part of life.

I have an experience of such. Hearing a word that sound a bit heavy, but going back to check on it in my dictionary, I found out it means nothing as compared to what I thought.
This was an awkward experience with a dramatical comedian. Saying a heavy word that do not intersect or align with what I thought.
