Medical care is one of our basic needs. Due to advances in medicine, diagnosis has become much easier. Many types of technical instruments are now used to diagnose diseases. Although we use these instruments for treatment, there are many people who are afraid of seeing them.
Hello friends, I hope you are all well. All of us have undergone medical treatment at one time or another. We have many different experiences with medical treatment. Through today's contest I will share my medical experience with you. First of all, I would like to thank the Columbia-Original community for providing such a beautiful topic.
Are you afraid of any medical instrument?
As a child I was afraid of all kinds of medical instruments. At that time I was most afraid of syringes and X-ray machines. Because when I saw the tip of the syringe being inserted into the body of others, I found it very scary and when I saw people standing in front of a big machine like an X-ray, I thought it was much more scary.

But as I grew older, I got used to these things and now I am not afraid of these medical instruments anymore. But there is still one instrument that scares me a bit. That is a CT scan. Many times I have seen people being put directly into a machine. Which to me seems a little more terrible than all the other instruments.
Are you afraid of any medical specialist? To which?
Among the medical specialists I fear the most is the psychiatrist. Maybe many people may find the matter too lame, but actually I am afraid of unusual questions. Because they ask questions that people often get confused to answer.
psychiatrist ask different types of questions to understand people's intelligence, especially trying to know personal issues. I don't feel comfortable to answer the unusual questions, which is probably why I fear them the most. Because they want to know various personal matters.

Do you remember any uncomfortable, painful, funny or unpleasant medical experience?
I once had an uncomfortable and funny medical experience while seeking treatment. I remember when I went to the diagnostic center for my test x-ray as a child, there was a nurse there as a specialist. After entering the x-ray room, the nurse asked me to take off my shirt.
I was very shy in my childhood so I was shy to open my shirt in front of her. My father also went with me. I told my father that I will not open my shirt in front of the nurse. The nurse laughed a lot after listening to me and later sent another male specialist to do my x-ray test. I still feel ashamed when I remember the incident.
Did you experience any medical trauma in your childhood?
I still remember being in primary school when I was in a terrible medical condition. I had psoriasis in my body. These are called a type of allergic eczema. Then my body was very itchy. It itched so much that my screen would bleed. I was treated by a dermatologist for about three years for this problem. My psoriasis are gone but some scars still remain.
Info:Maybe it's someone's daily companion
I will never forget this medical trauma. Because I had to suffer a lot. When the i scratch in the affected area because of itchiness there was a lot of burning. I could not go to school for a long time due to this problem. My whole family was very worried about me. Because the disease was not easily cured. After taking the medicine, the same problem would appear again after a few days. After treatment for almost a long time, I completely recovered.
Have you experienced an accident or illness considered serious?
I had an accident in 2014. The day was very miserable for me. I left the house and went to the highway to go to computer coaching. When I was crossing the road, a CNG came from the wrong side and hit me. As a result of the impact, I fell to the ground. I was injured in different parts of my body. My whole family cried a lot after hearing about my accident.
Although I was not seriously injured, the injury that I received in my face was scarred. The scar has faded a lot now but can be seen up close. I still get upset when I think about that day because I still remember that day like an earthquake hit my whole family. Although the fault was with the CNG driver as he was driving on the wrong side but after this incident I tried to cross the road more cautiously.

Conclusion
Every person has gained medical experience at least once in their life. Many may have experienced this as a patient themselves and many have seen someone in their family face the experience. We don't understand the pain of those with medical conditions until we experience the condition ourselves. So we should try to live healthy and serve those who are sick.

Syringes scare almost all of us, it is good that you are no longer afraid of them, as for the CT scans, I have not had this test and I don't know how scary it can be.
Psychiatrists are so important for our mental health, but, you are right, they ask questions to know how you are, how you feel and that can be very uncomfortable. Your experience with x-rays is painful and funny, you were little and you were embarrassed to take your clothes off, good thing the nurse understood and sent a gentleman to do the exam.
Accidents are always complicated and generate fear, yours was quite serious from what I understand, fortunately, there was no permanent injury, just a small scar that is not very noticeable heh heh.
Thank you very much for participating in this challenge on medical experiences @ripon0630.

The syringe is one of the medical instruments that many are afraid of, even some adults are afraid of the syringe.

There are no explanations for why we are shy as children.
I understand your emotions when an accident occurs, but we did not do any here. You have a wonderful family who will look after you in any situation.
Nice entry from you. Best of luck.
