Infinite love [A short story]

Camille and Gaston are very much in love with each other for the last 2-3 years. Both of them work as sales representatives in a medicine company in Paris city. Gaston is often sent to other countries by the company for work, he is also very fond of travelling.

Tomorrow morning Gaston has to go to London on company work, there is a 2-day conference there, in which he has to give a presentation of his new medicines on behalf of the company.

I don't know why this time he was feeling very anxious about going out, and he called Camille and told her that, "He is leaving for London tomorrow at 8 o'clock in the morning and will return after 2 days."

This was not a new thing for Camille, she said, OK darling, I will also accompany you to the airport.

The next morning both of them reached the airport in Camille's car, the flight was on time. Gaston was very restless. Before going inside, he hugged Camille very tightly and said, "Take care of yourself and wait for me my love, I will return in just 2 days."

Camille also became a little emotional after listening to his emotional words and then said, "Go quickly otherwise you will miss your flight, now I will talk to you when you return." Then she quickly turned and reached her car, she did not understand that this time Gaston What happened to him? while he always used to go outsid the country for companie's work .

Camille was driving the car immersed in her these thoughts, her speed was also normal, then perhaps her attention got distracted, and suddenly a truck coming in front of her at a very fast speed hit the left side of her car and ran away in the other direction. Camille's car lost control and collided with a pillar on the road.

And in this accident, Camille suffered a lot of injuries and lost a lot of blood, she became unconscious and leaned on the steering wheel. As soon as the accident was recorded in the CCTV camera, the ambulance and rescue team reached there.

Camille was immediately admitted to the ICU of the City Hospital and was examined by a team of emergency physicians. The MRI report revealed that he was bleeding due to injuries on the internal part of his head. And she has gone into coma due to excessive bleeding.

Camille was immediately put on live support system and her treatment was started, even after observation for several hours, there was no improvement in her condition.

The doctors took out the last dialled number from Camille's mobile and called it, this number belonged to Gaston but he was busy in his company's meeting and had muted his mobile.

Therefore he could not receive the phone and the call got disconnected. Doctors made many attempts but the same thing happened every time.

Poor Gaston did not know that his beloved girlfriend was struggling between life and death.

When he reached his hotel room at night, he saw many missed calls on his mobile, he waited for the call and now the phone appeared to be switched off, he went to sleep disappointed because he had another meeting tomorrow morning and in the evening His return flight home was at 4 o'clock.

The next day, Gaston finished his work and took the flight back home. Till now he had no news about Camille. As soon as he reached home, he called Camille but did not get any answer. He got worried by calling several times. Then he immediately changed his clothes and reached her house, where he came to know that she had not reached home for two days.

Gaston's heart was filled with apprehension, he called many friends to find out, no one knew anything. Then he called the police station . He was called from the police headquarters, when he showed them Camille's photo, he came to know that she had met with an accident while returning from the airport and was admitted to the city hospital.

He ran his car and reached the city hospital, where he was told that Camille was admitted in the ICU in a state of severe coma and no one could meet her, the chances of her survival were negligible.

Hearing this, Gaston started crying loudly and sat on a bench lying there. Now he remembered that while he was going, his heart was feeling the apprehension of some unknown evil.

After tireless efforts of the doctors and multiple surgeries, he regained consciousness after 20 days. Gaston was lying in the hospital for these 20 days. When the doctors told him that his condition was now stable, but no one would be able to meet him for 2-3 days.

Still Gaston heaved a sigh of relief. A huge burden and fear had gone from his heart. Ever since he came to the hospital, he had neither eaten food nor shaved his beard, his condition was also very untidy.

Today, after 20 days, after getting assurance of her recovery, he thanked God wholeheartedly, got his head and beard shaved and then had a proper meal in the hospital canteen.
