We live in a world where everyone wishes to receive other than giving. People really finds pleasure when they are in the receiving side even when the giver may not be well to do when compared to them. However, in the midst of these people are those who go about searching for people who are in need. They try as much as possible to ensure that they are strong and well to do. This activities takes place in a process called Humanitarian Services and it is based on this that I will be presenting my personal experience on humanitarian services.

In my opinion, Humanitarian service refers to those acts done on others with the aim of alleviating burdens, stress, suffering and pains while improving human welfare as well as dignity especially for those who are passing through/experiencing any form of crisis. These acts cut across different sphere of live ranging from education relief programs, healthcare provision, palliatives, social support and security stability to mention but a few

Also, these services focuses on individuals experiencing complex diseases, war victims, those under the realm of poverty and any other form of difficulty experienced by people. Unlike the normal charitable works which in most cases takes time, humanitarian services are mostly characterized by its urgency, sincerity, selflessness, transparency and unbiased attitudes towards ensuring that the available materials gets to those who are actually in need with cutting corners.

From the aforementioned, it is worthy to note that large scale Humanitarian services are mostly done by organizations and group of people while the smaller scale such as giving support and donations, mentoring at risk individuals as well as providing medical and educational assistance to those in need are done by single individuals. Ultimately, humanitarian service is a function of accepting life, admiring life and living life for the benefits of those around me

Humanitarian services which in most cases are things no one pays anything to get is highly stressful and yet demanding. It requires total impartiality irrespective of gender or age.

It should be given at the right time and the right location. In the same vein, you may ignore those who are not deeply seriously in need while focusing on disaster's victim, chronic diseases issues, intense poverty etc.

Humanitarian services ranges from a single individual activity to a group or organizational services such as Organizational services include the Boys Brigade association, Royal rangers, Red Cross society, man of war, and all other volunteering groups which takes the form of a religious sect.

This groups and individuals ensures human safety like in the case of the man of war team, while the red safety manages and contributes effectively towards the health sector by giving first aid treatment to accident related issues.

Beyond attending To emergency situations, humanitarian services may also take part in the community through the form of collaboration or something.

Humanitarian services are activities I try not to miss when ever I am opportune to witness because it enables me to join in the contributions of knowledge to life. One of the notable humanitarian services I have joined was when I coordinated part of my circle of friends and we journeyed to the hospital so as to celebrate the new year with those who were unable to be discharged due to how complicated their situation were.

Many of the patients we met were people who were destabilized with no hope of celebrating the new year due to the pains they passed through.

However, our presence changed the whole story and I could recall how they smiled and thanked us judiciously. During this journey, items ranging from toiletries, drinks, snacks tea, slippers, torch light, food among others was given to them and the smiles on their faces are moment i will never forget.

Another notable Humanitarian service i have been a part is when I and my fellow team mates (Faculty of Education team) showed up for some hungry boys who stays around plaza begging for food and shelter. Washing them eat their food with love and joy makes me feel such an activity should always show up very often.

Lemme end by highlighting that through Humanitarian services I have come to realized that the small things we do for people out of love matters greatly and I also realized that sometimes it's not about the materials but being there when someone least expected is all that matters.
