Greetings to amazing members of this community it is my pleasure to welcome you all to my blog again and a pleasure to participate in this contest. Humanitarian service organized by @megareigns. And before I proceed I would love to invite @iddy,@nsijoro and @entity01 to join in this contest. It is often said that there is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving. When we give from our heart you will agree with me that it makes the person happy.

What do you understand by humanitarian services?

Humanitarian services are actions people in the widows governmental and non-governmental groups take to alleviate or eradicate suffering poverty and civil lives during crisis or conflict as the case may be this act is done today most vulnerable ones. That is people who do not have the capacity to provide basic needs of life for themselves. For it to be humanitarian people who are willing to help look at what the individuals need at that moment in time, it could be emergency relief; food,shelter and water, health care services and so on.

How should humanitarian services be rendered, and to who?

Humanitarian services must be rendered in a way that respect the dignity, autonomy and cultural background of the individuals in need humanitarian services must be rendered based on those in needs without discrimination, agencies responsible for humanitarian affairs should be accountable and transparent and have respect to the affected people and lastly it should be neutral without taking sides for any party during conflict, and also free from the influence of government officials more so to avoid favoritism and so on. And it should be rendered to victims who are in need of what is to be provided for example people who are affected by natural disaster or war or even internally displaced persons. When primary thing to note is that it should be given to people who are severely in need without being biased and looking at where they come from whether they are related to you or not.

Have you participated in any humanitarian services, share your experience.

I have not participated in humanitarian services though I would love to but while writing this post I remembered one time ago during the covid 19 pandemic, millions world wide could not feed their families as they would have because of the economic situation at that time different agencies both governmental and non-governmental supplied palliatives to members of the society. Even the then Exxon Mobil gave their workers food stuffs water and so on this kind gesture is to enhance the well being of the people.
