Sublime Sunday: A Mixture of Activities

An easy early start to my Sunday. Sitting here looking though my vacation pictures, I'm trying to sort out the first trip in our RV.

I can't really call it a sublime Sunday since today our football team, The Houston Texans, is playing for the AFC Championship. It's excitement in our house for those watching the game.

Sports food is on the menu for them.

I just grabbed something light and quick. I love the smoked salmon pinwheels I picked up at the market. The salmon is organic, wrapped in jalapeno cream cheese. Just added a small amount of leftover red potatoes, brussel sprouts, and a couple strawberries.

I'm now ready to close myself off from the sports talk and noise. Several items planned for later today. I have on my schedule to choose a book by a female author and at least read two or three chapters.

I hate to get excited too early in a sports game, then witness a different outcome. Sometimes I just can't watch it when the stakes are high.
