Come walk with me as we travel through the many paintings π
---Start This Journey Here---
Continuing my journey through this wonderful scenery surrounded by many shades of green and a clear blue sky, I got lost in the beauty of it all. My mind wandered like me but it was on a journey into its past and it revisited moments of beauty and sorrow. Images and emotions arose and then slowly ebbed away again like the movement of waves on a shoreline. But as I kept moving my thoughts kept flowing as well and I just observed them with some distance.
The road that I was walking on began to widen and I noticed how the sound beneath my shoe soles began to change as I started to walk on gravel and dry dirt. This must be a more frequented road I thought and I was curious where it would lead me. As the hours passed and I continued walking I also noticed a change in vegetation which very gradually began to unfold: the dense and lush greens turned more and more into a yellow-greenish color and the trees became more sparse with individual pine trees towering over the sky. I could see the countryside more clearly now and I felt very happy being able to look at the soft flowing hills and the horizon which seemed endless.
Some dots of red were peppered throughout the scenery and I could also make out a large bridge with many arcs supporting it. This was contrasted by the rectangular fields which were sometimes green, yellow or brown in color. And on the foot of the mountain the red dots seemed to gather in greater numbers and there was probably a village of some sort which this road was taking me.
Standing on this little hill here there was so much to see and take in. I observed all of the details, the slow movements of the clouds and the wind sweeping through the fields and I felt a great sense of peace. It was an exhilarating feeling of joy and happiness, and I opened my heart to let this feeling carry me onwards towards the unknown.
This is a lovely series you've been putting together for us. I just went back to the first one and walked through a few paintings with you.
