Blessings dear community @ChristianFellowship, it is nice to be here, the peace of God be with everyone.
The Christian's spiritual authority is guaranteed by Jesus' victory on Calvary's Cross and his resurrection on the third day.
However, many Christians do not know how to use their spiritual authority. They live as slaves to their feelings, fear, the devil, or even people.
The Christian's spiritual authority is powerful, but if you don't know how to use it, it is only a battle tank available to a layman.
THE SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY OF THE CHRISTIAN
1. Understand that God is sovereign - John 19: 10,11
Do you refuse to speak to me? "Pilate said." Don't you know that I have the authority to set you free and crucify you? "
Jesus replied: “You would not have authority over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore, he who gave me to you is guilty of a greater sin. "
Pilate's earthly authority did not fear Jesus, because the Master knew that his life was in God's hands.
2. We have insight for life - 1 Corinthians 2:15
But the one who is spiritual discerns all things, and he himself is not discerned by anyone; because “who knew the mind of the Lord so that he could instruct him? We, however, have the mind of Christ.
The Christian's spiritual authority, given by the Holy Spirit, gives him the ability to be clear about the most diverse matters in life, so that we do not live confused.
3. Authority over the devil - Luke 10: 19
I have given you the authority to step on snakes and scorpions, and of all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm them.
The Christian need not fear the devil, because the authority of Christ gives us power over his traps.
4. More than winners - Romans 8:37
But in all these things we are more than winners, through the one who loved us.
The Christian faces a series of difficulties, but they can all be reduced to a single path: in the end, victory will be with us.
Many good Christians submit to a "slave" lifestyle simply because they do not use the spiritual authority that the Holy Spirit gives them to conquer, grow, dream, and be free.
It was for the freedom that Christ set us free, yet we need to have a mindset and faith compatible with this spiritual truth.
